Ms. Marieta Binti Abdull Hamid (Ms. Marieta) has over 13 years of experience as a practicing lawyer and in-house legal counsel. She has been a Partner of PW Tan & Associates since February 2015, and her primary areas of practice are in mergers & acquisitions, disposals and joint venture transactions and has assisted in various cross border transactions, major capital expenditure projects, infrastructure projects and concessions. Before joining PW Tan & Associates, she advised Sime Darby Berhad and its group of companies for 7 years in her role as their in-house legal counsel. Ms. Marieta was also part of the Group Legal M&A team established under the Strategy and Business Development Department of Sime Darby Berhad focusing on the legal aspects in relation to mergers and acquisitions, takeovers and crossborder transactions for the Sime Darby Group.
